I have been fishing for nearly as long as I can remember.
I started fly fishing around the third grade, and tying flies directly after.
My passion for fishing continued, and as I grew a little older I opened up a bait and tackle shop off of my parents front porch when I was about 13 years old in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
I ran my bait shop for a number of years, and during that time was privileged to sell bait to some of my hero’s – professional walleye fishermen Gary Roach and Mark Martin. For me, it was a bigger deal then meeting a movie star.
I began receiving taxidermy catalogs back in grade school and always dreamed of opening a taxidermy studio.
As time went on, I became most interested in the process of molding and casting fish and painting them to look lifelike.

our mission
Quality Accuracy Excellence
Each fish has many hours of work – studying anatomy, morphology, colorations and movements. Depending on the fish, sometimes I will go so far as to paint each individual scale separately to give the most realistic scale effect.
With each fish I strive for accuracy, and excellence so that you can be proud to display your trophy to your friends and family.
